The SSC P7 is the type of LED or "light bulb". It is the brightest LED on the market at the moment, putting out up to 900 lumens (manufacturer rated). The real-life output of the light is closer to 700 Lumens which is still plenty BRIGHT!! The lights available here on this site all include the SSC P7 LED. These are very advanced LED lighting systems. They use Lithium Ion batteries, which have excellent capacity & a very long lifetime (cell phones, laptops, MP3 players & most advanced electronic gadgets use Lithium Ion batteries) – they far outperform normal rechargeable AA or AAA batteries, and are also superior to the older NiCad or NiMh technologies. The LED’s are incredibly efficient putting out impressive illumination with very low power consumption.
